Ramen Prawn Fried Noodles

Even though meat and veggies blend in well with ramen noodles to make interesting dishes, seafood is also the best choice. This stir-fried prawn recipe is well suited for a one-pan dinner with a savory mixture that even the pickiest eaters will love.

• 2 3-oz packets of ramen noodles
• ½ cup of carrots – chopped
• 3 ½ oz of mushrooms – sliced
• 12 oz of shrimp – large
• 3 scallions – large
• 2 cups of broccoli florets
• 2 eggs – large
• Salt, to taste
For the sauce:
• 4 tsp of sesame oil
• 2 tsp of fish sauce

3 tbsp of soy sauce
• 1 tbsp of honey
• 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
• 3 garlic cloves – large, minced
• 2 tsp of chili garlic sauce
• Some hot water
• Sesame seeds (optional)

Time: 25 mins

1. Start by preparing the sauce. On a bowl combine, all the oils and sauces and other ingredients mentioned for preparing the sauce. Set this aside.
2. Drain the cooked noodles. Keep those aside too.
3. Use a skillet or wok and heat it until hot, keep it on high heat till you see smoke.
4. Net, pour 1 tbsp of sesame oil and place the shrimp. Cook them while tossing in between for 5 mins. Keep the cooked shrimp aside.
5. Add the next tbsp of the sesame oil onto the skillet or wok. Throw in the vegetables, cook it for 7 mins until crisp and cooked. Splash some water to avoid stickiness.
6. Sauté well and add the eggs, beaten. Stir occasionally for a minute.

7. Toss in the shrimp and the cooked ramen noodles.
8. Once done, take it away from the heat and drizzle the prepared sauce. Toss it to combine.
9. Then, garnish with toasted sesame seeds or chili flakes.
10. Before serving top it off with sesame seeds and chili oil.
